In 2010 Trio Anima Mundi...
continues its visionary approach of bringing to audiences a dynamic mix of well-loved works alongside many little-known jewels of the piano trio repertoire. Its players, Kenji Fujimura (piano), Rochelle Bryson (violin) and Miranda Brockman (cello) are recipients of numerous awards both in Australia and abroad, and have diverse professional lives in Melbourne. Formed in 2008, Trio Anima Mundi has been praised for its
“...sumptuous string duets that surge out with heartfelt magniloquence” and for the “...voluminous riches of the keyboard…” (The Age).
Trio Anima Mundi’s subscription series, performed in three different centres across Victoria, has a philanthropic outreach. In 2010 the Trio will be supporting the Cairnmillar Institute, a psychological and trauma counselling centre for individuals and families in need.
